as I can see from mediawiki2latex_7.21-1.debian.tar.xz in sid the
patches still seem to be there. So I don't understand why your change
did not make it into 7.21.

You reverted my change with the latest upload, so it is broken once
again. You should fetch the diff of my NMU and reapply it, and keep it
around until we have ghc 7.10 in unstable. There's no real need to fix
it outside of packaging, as we are working around a ghc bug here.
