Hmmm, this issue has quite the same wording as the Debian bug.
Confusing that you think the bug should be closed. May be it should
have been closed at some point in time but a new issue creates a similar
problem now.
As I said previously and in my previous mail: I'm not motivated to
contribute code to packaging outside .debian.org (and I admit I'd be of
little help in such endian issues but considering it would be on
git.debian.org I'd be willing to proxy things to debian-mentors or the
porter teams).
It would be really nice if you would CC relevant bug reports to make
sure other interested maintainers can see the full story.
