Package: libmath-gsl-perl Version: 0.36-1 Severity: serious Forwarded: https://rt.cpan.org/Ticket/Display.html?id=108378
This package build depends on libgsl0-dev, which is currently in sid/amd64 both a real package from src:gsl=1.16+dfsg-4 and a virtual package provided by libgsl-dev from src:gsl=2.1+dfsg-2. It looks like the former is just cruft that's been superseded. On architectures where older gsl isn't around anymore, the package fails to build with xs/BSpline_wrap.1.16.c: In function '_wrap_gsl_bspline_deriv_eval': xs/BSpline_wrap.1.16.c:3277:19: error: too many arguments to function 'gsl_bspline_deriv_eval' result = (int)gsl_bspline_deriv_eval(arg1,arg2,arg3,arg4,arg5); which can also be reproduced by building with an added dependency on libgsl-dev. This is blocking testing migration: Impossible dependency: libmath-gsl-perl -> gsl/amd64 so filing at 'serious'. -- Niko Tyni nt...@debian.org
