Seems a false positive to me. This package has a dh-style debian/rules, so it does not need explicit "build-arch" or "build-indep" targets. (I've also checked and it builds ok with "dpkg-buildpackage -A" in sid). BTW: This package was removed from testing because of this bug. Thanks.
