I can reproduce it if I try 64 threads, but I've always built with 12 threads without any trouble. Here is the error, untangled from parallelism. cc -o pdc -L. -Wl,-z,relro -rdynamic -Wl,-rpath,\$ORIGIN/../../lib/lx-amd64 pdc_main.o procfs_main.o libsched.a libsgeobj.a libcomm.a libcommlists.a libsgeobjd.a libcull.a libuti.a libuti2.a -luti -ldl -lmunge -lssl -lcrypto -lm -lpthread -ljemalloc -lmunge cc: error: libsched.a: No such file or directory ../daemons/common/Makefile:94: recipe for target 'pdc' failed make[2]: *** [pdc] Error 1 so yes, libsched.a needs to be declared as a prerequisite of pdc. regards Afif -- Afif Elghraoui | عفيف الغراوي http://afif.ghraoui.name
