while looking at fixing #817652 I tried to use retty but couldn't get it to work. In the second terminal, nothing happens: $ retty 3733 codesize: 138 codeaddr: ff99840c stack: ff9983fc eip: ff998414 sub:48 ^C ^\Verlassen ^C doesn't quit retty; on hitting ^\ the to-be-attached-to process segfaults. Kernel: amd64 4.7.6-1, in a i386 chroot (with linux32 personality). Maybe it's time to RM retty? (The packaging repo is now at ssh://git.debian.org/git/collab-maint/pkg-retty.git if someone manages to fix it.) Christoph
