You're welcome to contribute! About the archive rebuild: The rebuild was done on EC2 VM instances from Amazon Web Services, using a clean, minimal and up-to-date chroot. Every failed build was retried once to eliminate random failures.

It worked on official buildds, but maybe they provide more information about their build user. ci.debian.net had the same failure, which I fixed in 3.20170110. That version passes tests on ci.debian.net, so I'm hoping the same change will work for your test machine. If not, please reopen. S
