Package: libodb-api-bin Version: 0.17.1-1 Severity: serious User: debian...@lists.debian.org Usertags: piuparts
Hi, during a test with piuparts I noticed your package failed to install because it tries to overwrite other packages files. Breaks+Replaces is *NOT* the correct solution in this case if functionalities are different. Since the two packages seem to be unrelated, and libodb-api-bin is the newer one, it will have to rename its binary. >From the attached log (scroll to the bottom...): Selecting previously unselected package libodb-api-bin.
