Source: html-xml-utils Version: 7.5-1 Severity: serious Recently, while rebuilding a bunch of packages in a chroot without pbuilder, I discovered the following failure:

PASS: tests/xmlasc7.sh PASS: tests/xmlasc4.sh PASS: tests/xref3.sh PASS: tests/xref1.sh PASS: tests/xmlns1.sh PASS: tests/xref5.sh PASS: tests/xref4.sh PASS: tests/xref2.sh PASS: tests/xref6.sh PASS: tests/xref7.sh At this point, the build hangs, and a "ps" shows a bunch of "nc" processes as children of "/bin/sh ./tests/extract1.sh". At this point, I have to terminate the build manually. I was subsequently able to reproduce this using "pbuilder build --extrapackages netcat-traditional html-xml-utils_7.5-1.dsc". (By the way, I've been seeing the same thing in all the recent uploads, starting with version 7.1-1 - though 7.5-1 is the only version for which I've tried reproducing the issue with pbuilder.) -- Daniel Schepler
