Dear Maintainer, * What led up to the situation? i plugged in a USB thumb drive * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)? i tried several different USB thumb drives but with the same result * What was the outcome of this action? i was logged out back to the log-in screen each time * What outcome did you expect instead? to be able to interact with the USB thumb drive i tried rebooting my system to make sure the latest update hadn't changed something that needed a reboot to settle in properly, but that made no difference either i am running a standard install of debian testing (buster) with no custom kernels etc -- System Information: Debian Release: buster/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 4.14.0-3-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_US:en (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled
