Your package build-depends on gconf, but gconf will be removed from Debian soon. gconf's last release was about 5 years ago. It has been replaced by gsettings (provided in Debian by source glib2.0 ) It looks like all you need to do here is Build-Depend on libglib2.0-dev instead of libgconf2-dev. (No patch attached but this is a trivial fix.)
