Hi Matthias, I just wanted to let you know that I'm working with Ana to get yapf into a good state ASAP. On a PR on salsa she writes that she plans to upload the fixes after next Thursday.
I don't know when the final sync from Debian will be, but I hope this means the yapf and its rdeps won't be cut from Ubuntu 18.10. P.S. I maintain Elpy, one of yapf's rdeps, and if any Ubuntu users find bugs in Elpy then I plan to fix them in Debian without delay. https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/elpy/+bug/1784103 Cheers, Nicholas
