Hi. I'm going to recycle this bug instead of filing a new one because
the old subject ("FTBFS in buster/sid") still applies.
Now it fails this way:
ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'magic'
which suggests a missing build-depends.

if you need full build logs.
While we are at it, please consider uploading in source-only form
(dpkg-buildpackage -S) so that this kind of bugs never propagate to
testing (try building in a clean chroot first to make sure there are
not missing build-dependencies).
