If you go with "the -common way" then yes... eventually! You will still need to provide an upgrade path for current users, so for atleast 1 debian release you would need to have a transitional mkchromecast package that simply depends on mkchromecast-common. This is another reason I would not go with "the -common way", but rather the alternative in the patch (or the third option). Regards, Andreas Henriksson
