gnome-commander was removed from Debian Testing 8 months ago because it depends on multiple libgnome libraries which the Debian GNOME team is trying to remove from Debian. Therefore, I intend to file a removal bug for gnome-commander very soon. Please let me know promptly if you agree or object. It's sad because gnome-commander is being actively developed (last release was in March).
