Package: ooniprobe
Version: 2.3.0-1
Severity: serious

Hi,

txtorcon has stopped building the Python 2 variant python-txtorcon (on
which ooniprobe depends and build-depends) and only builds
python3-txtorcon.

According to https://github.com/ooni/probe-legacy/blob/master/setup.py,
Ooniprobe only supports Python 2.

And https://github.com/ooni/probe sounds as if the python variant is not
further developed. (No commits since February this year either.) So I
don't expect a port to Python 3 is a suitable solution to this issue.

Moving forward to the next-generation CLI (Go) or desktop variant
(JavaScript) is probably the way to go.
