Have you tried 7.0.63.3 ?

I just successfully reinstalled 7.0.63.3, so maybe "grave" is not the
right severity.

According to this click path

http://www.macromedia.com/
http://www.macromedia.com/downloads/
http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer
redirects to
http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash
http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player_7_linux.tar.gz

the download link on http://macromedia.mplug.org/ is correct.

Where did you get your download link from? If this link is officially
published somewhere by Macromedia, then I'll add it to the links to try
downloading from. Maybe you get your URL via the click path I explained
above. Could you try that please?

Bart Martens
