I doubt it. It would most likely only affect packages starting very eary in the boot, (think rcS.d scripts), which are involved in file system setup and file system initialization. When I tracked this, it was around 100 of around 100 packages with init.d scripts. -- Happy hacking Petter Reinholdtsen
