Full support for pinning needs apt adding support for the "never" pinning: https://salsa.debian.org/apt-team/apt/merge_requests/40 I'm also working on u-u's side that can land after APT's: https://github.com/rbalint/unattended-upgrades/tree/apply-pinning For the meantime I suggest excluding experimental from the allowed origins overriding the default configuration in a separate file.
