t-coffee's debian/rules passes -i through dh_auto_build to make. That's the equivalent to ignoring all return codes of compiler invocations and thus violating the spirit of policy section 4.6. I argue that -i violates common sense. Its presence makes debugging build failures next to impossible. Please drop the -i flag. Helmut
