Dear maintainers, I am going to remove the Python 2 part of python-qt4 from sid soon, but not before 10 days from now, 2019-12-02.
If your package does not migrate away from it, it will become uninstallable. You will still be able to use python3-pyqt4 or python-pyqt5 for some time, so porting to Python 3 *or* to Qt 5 is enough. Of course, in the middle term it is better to port to Python 3 *and* Qt 5. -- Dmitry Shachnev
