Dear maintainer(s),
The autopkgtest of stress-ng turned up a couple of times on our list of
unfinished tests on the ci.debian.net arm64 infrastructure. I looked
into the history of your autopkgtest and it fails regularly on arm64 [1][2].
Looking at the purpose of this package, is it possible that it's a bit
too aggressive for the workers of ci.debian.net? Especially if you
consider that we run several autopkgtest instances in parallel on the
same host?
Because the unstable-to-testing migration software now blocks on
regressions in testing, flaky tests, i.e. tests that flip between
passing and failing without changes to the list of installed packages,
are causing people unrelated to your package to spend time on these
tests. Furthermore, I have the (not further substantiated) impression
it's impacting our ci service.
I copied the output at the bottom of this report. Not all the failing
tests [1][2] that I inspected fail at the same position.
Please do get in touch if we need to dive into this together.
Paul
