I beg to disagree, there is a transition plan, namely depending on the right package. Things change, that's what unstable is for. Depending on bsdmainutils to get bsdextrautils does not sound right to me. We have to make the change eventually. And keep in mind that there may be other breakages as we changed sources for col et al. I am not aware of any, and I assume Chris isn't either, but there still may be some incompatibilities. I don't see the point of postponing the switch.
