pytest-asyncio 0.14 tries to use pytest Function.from_parent (e.g. at pytest_asyncio/plugin.py:39), which does not exist in the archive's current version of pytest (4.6). This causes at least pandas to FTBFS.
https://github.com/pandas-dev/pandas/pull/35757 and https://sources.debian.org/src/python-pytest-asyncio/0.14.0-1/setup.py/#L44 suggest this happens with pytest < 5.4 and pytest_asyncio >= 0.12.
