Yeah, well, we had already agreed that I could become a comantainer, so
I was planning on doing so. I would have uploaded yesterday, but alas,
something else popped up. :)

If you're willing to learn about Debian packaging, and spend a bit of
time on it, my offer stands. If you're just worried about amule's status
in Debian but will prefer for somebody else to take care, I can be that
one. In either case, upstream being subscribed to the PTS and reading
Debian BTS traffic is pretty cool, and helpful by itself regardless of
them being involved in packaging or not.
In other words, I'll soon make an amule upload myself to fix the serious
open packaging bugs, and will be happy with whatever later decision you
make about yourself stepping in or not, as explained above.
