Thanks for this research. I read through both issues and don't question the general reasoning.

However, I clearly do not want to needlessly change this forth and back, as I already did once. If fam stays in Bullseye, I think it's better to have courier build against libfam-dev. Whether or not fam stays in Bullseye is up to the release team.

I'm actively using courier built against libfam-dev in combination with gamin. So that's known working as well.

I know, because I already did "fix" this once. Only to be asked to revert the change few days later. I'm not going to repeat that process. Let's have a clear decision, please. And then take action.

So far I've read the release team had "decided that fam will stay in bullseye". If that's not true or revisited, I'm happy to adjust courier.
