Sorry, I don't think I was clear with https://bugs.debian.org/993064
I believe gnome-shell-extension-gpaste 3.40 is not compatible with
gnome-shell 3.38 which is still in unstable and testing.
I recommend updating gnome-shell-extension-gpaste's minimum
gnome-shell dependency version to 40 in debian/control.
We will upload gnome-shell 40 to unstable "soon". See
