msmtp is licensed under the GPL and in the COPYING file and also in
debian/copyright I couldn't find an exception which allows the linking with
OpenSSL, this violates a license. You have now the choice:
Either you build it against gnutls, which is supported by your package and
in my oppinion the best idea, or you let the upstream add the exception into
COPYING.
