Package: python-scientific Severity: serious Tags: patch Justification: makes package uninstallable
Hi, The python-scientific package version 2.4.9-5 depends on python-netcdf (>= 2.4.11). Since both packages are built with the same source, this means that the dependency will never be satisfied. A simple fix is to set the version in the dependency to Source-Version: Package: python-scientific Architecture: all - Depends: ${python:Depends}, python-numeric-ext (>= 24.2-3), python-netcdf (>= 2.4.11) + Depends: ${python:Depends}, python-numeric-ext (>= 24.2-3), python-netcdf (= ${Source-Version}) Thanks for your work, -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.16-1-amd64-k8-smp Locale: [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED] (charmap=ISO-8859-15) (ignored: LC_ALL set to [EMAIL PROTECTED]) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
