Package: opencu
Version: 3-1
Severity: serious
User: debian...@lists.debian.org

Hi,

during a test with piuparts I noticed your package failed to install
because it tries to overwrite other packages files without declaring a
Breaks+Replaces relation.

See policy 7.6 at
https://www.debian.org/doc/debian-policy/ch-relationships.html#overwriting-files-and-replacing-packages-replaces

>From the attached log (scroll to the bottom...):

  Selecting previously unselected package opencu.
  Preparing to unpack .../archives/opencu_3-2_amd64.deb ...
  Unpacking opencu (3-2) ...
  dpkg: error processing archive /var/cache/apt/archives/opencu_3-2_amd64.deb
(--unpack):
trying to overwrite '/usr/bin/cu', which is also in package cu 1.07-27+b1
  Errors were encountered while processing:
   /var/cache/apt/archives/opencu_3-2_amd64.deb

How are cu and opencu supposed to co-exist?
Is cu supposed to be removed from the archive?

cheers,

Andreas
