1.5.x is the development branch of Trac and I would like to wait for the official 1.6 release. It probably comes to late for Debian 12. The state of trac in Debian is not very good anyway, e.g. all trac plugins are gone and need to be reintroduced. My plan is to wait for 1.6 and provide backports for the bookworm release cycle.
