Package: python3-django-markupfield
Severity: serious
Version: 1.2.1-2+deb8u1

Hello,

database migrations generated when using markupfields with python3-django-markupfield 1.2.1 do not work with stable's django version 1.7.x.
  https://github.com/jamesturk/django-markupfield/issues/20

This makes python3-django-markupfield fairly useless on stable.

What I did was port django-markupfield jessie's 1.4 to the backports django version (a mere recompile will do). Of course, that leaves the broken package in stable.

Best regards

Thomas

Since the version in old-old-stable is 1.5.0 while the issue was
fixed in 1.4.0 this bug is not relevant any more. Thus closing it.
