just a ping to remark that this issue is still present with the versions of xtables-addons-dkms and linux kernel now in sid. I just stumbled on it on a mere apt dist-upgrade that pulled in linux 6.16.3+deb14. So this is not any more a problem only in experimental, but also in sid.
