JFTR, upstream has addressed this in <https://github.com/thewml/website-meta-language/commit/817f20706eaac774d9a5448877a54398a9382636> and then further in <https://github.com/thewml/website-meta-language/commit/727806494dcb9d334ffb324aedbf6076e4796299>.
