Thanks. I've reassigned this to postgres with a non-RC severity for followup. Postgres maintainers: dovecot's configure script wasn't detecting libpq from the postgres 18 beta/rc libpq-dev packages. With the final postgres 18 release, the issue seems resolved. No actions were taken within the dovecot package to resolve this issue, so it seems that something must have changed on the postgres side. I don't think there's anything needed from the postgres maintainers at this time, and you can safely resolve this bug. I'm assigning it to you just to make sure you see it and in case you want to do a deeper investigation. noah
