Dear maintainer(s),

I looked at the results of the autopkgtest of your package because it showed up as a regression for the oldstable upload of git. I noticed that it regularly fails, particularly on our hosts located in Eastern Asia. The test fails because salsa seems to have recently started to block hosts or network blocks that repeatedly do requests as a measure against abuse. Unfortunately, your test sometimes hits that measure. On IRC it was suggested that maybe it's smarter to generate a repository during the test instead of pulling it from the internet.

Because the unstable-to-testing migration software now blocks on
regressions in testing, flaky tests, i.e. tests that flip between
passing and failing without changes to the list of installed packages,
are causing people unrelated to your package to spend time on these
tests.

Don't hesitate to reach out if you need help and some more information
from our infrastructure.

Paul
