Bug#1117656: breezy/hg-git autopkgtests still broken with dulwich 0.24.7

Just to save anyone else's time trying (and maybe rule some things out 
for Jelmer?), I tried locally upgrading dulwich to 0.24.7 and running 
the breezy and hg-git autopkgtests against it, and they still fail in 
what looks like the same way.
