Ok, this is my release candidate: https://salsa.debian.org/sanvila/lmfit-py (Default branch is "wip-20251102", that's the branch that will become master). The patch called "exclude_test_for_32bit.patch" is still needed, because there is a test which creates a matrix which is too big for 32-bit systems (checked in Salsa CI). The patch called "deactivate_test.patch" is not needed anymore, after building the package 100 times (using AWS instances) with zero failures. Thanks.
