Package: scotch Version: 7.0.10-1exp2 Followup-For: Bug #1120413 Worth mentioning that scotch debci tests are passing with pmix 5.0.9. Only the buildd environment is affected.
This means the debci environment does have remote interfaces, not only the lo interface. The problem affects chroots where only lo is available, which is the case for our buildd environments (no internet access from buildds). This makes me think more this is an upstream bug in pmix 5.0.9: foreign tool support might be active by default, but that shouldn't necessarily mean it is mandatory.
