Hmm, I did such upgrade of lmfit-py, so I feel responsible for this... (we needed to fix a RC bug in lmfit-py). The good thing is that lmfit-py will not propagate to testing precisely because the autopkgtests for xrayutilities are failing with this new version: https://qa.debian.org/excuses.php?package=lmfit-py so I guess everything is working as expected.
