The Debian GNOME team intends to upload gimp 3 RC1 to Unstable soon,
for inclusion in the next major stable release of Debian, Debian 13
Trixie.
gimp-plugin-registry contains a collection of gimp 2 plugins. If
suitable gimp 3 plugins are identified and packaged, Debian's
gimp-plugin-registry could continue to be useful. Otherwise,
gimp-plugin-registry should eventually be removed from Debian.
