There was a little confusion around how to handle evince with the way
the new DFSG team is working. evince made it through binary NEW while
evince-gtk3 was rejected from source NEW a few days later. They have
the same debian/copyright but debian/copyright was deemed not good
enough for evince-gtk3. We'll make some updates to debian/copyright
and reupload soon. Sorry for the disruption. I expect evince-gtk3 to
make it through the queue quickly since this is its RC blocker bug
which will give it a higher score on the DFSG team dashboard.
Packages that use the evince gtk3 libraries are failing to build from
source because libevince-dev is installing the new gtk4 libraries.
There will be a new libevince-gtk3-dev that will install the gtk3
libraries.

evince-gtk3 has been accepted into Unstable. gnome-sushi has been
updated to use the new Build-Depends. phosh is in the process of using
the new Build-Depends. I filed a bug against denemo (which isn't in
Testing) to use the new Build-Depends. I'm closing this bug since
there is nothing left to do on the evince/evince-gtk3 side.
Thank you,
Jeremy Bícha
