"libopenexr needs rename and transition for soname change"

So your analysis seems correct. The problem is in openexr which needs a
soname bump after which several packages, including swayimg, need to be
rebuild. Reassigning to openexr and merging with the above mentioned bug
and marking swayimg as affected.
