I'm leaning towards renaming /usr/bin/dotenv to /usr/bin/ruby-dotenv. This would be the easiest option and each implementation has different behavior.
Other option would be adding dotenv binary package to ruby-dotenv source and dotenv package declare a conflict against dotenv-cli.
If you have a strong opinion either way, please comment. Else I will proceed with renaming the binary in 3 days (after 26th may 2026).
