openqa-server is to be kept out of testing. This package includes the relatively fast-moving WebUI for openQA, which depends on an often changing collection of javascript. It is generally not feasible or advisable to backport fixes into past versions, so supporting this properly in stable, oldstable etc. is not a worthwhile effort. Instead, I'll be distributing it via unstable and also debian-fasttrack to allow users of stable to keep up to date with upstream security fixes. The products of the src:openqa package (openqa-client, -worker, -doc ...) on the other hand should enter testing as usual. These do not have awkward dependencies, are slower moving, are able to talk to mismatched server versions, and need to be easy for people to install without needing to resort to enabling fasttrack. That is why I have this openqa-server binary package being built from a separate src:openqa-server source package, to ensure that this RC bug should not impede the progress of the products of src:openqa into testing.
