I am aware of this and I suspect that the cause has to do with changes
in the build environment or another dependency rather than perl 5.42. I
shall disable the "make quickcheck" test on riscv64.
Great. Assuming the failure is not critical, then disabling that quickly would
be appreciated, as this is one of the few blockers on the ongoing perl transition.
