Package: rust-rust-unixfs
Version: 0.6.0-1
Severity: serious

rust-rust-unixfs was recently updated to version 0.6, the new
upstream version has a dependency on the "murmur3" crate which
is not in Debian.

Simon patched this to use the murmurhash3 crate instead, this
is packaged in Debian, but is currently only available on
little endian architectures.

Doing some searching it seems both the original C++
implementation of murmurhash3, and the rust murmurhash3 crate
are sensitive to the system endian. The tests in the murmurhash3
crate fail on s390x, presumably because they assume little endian.

What is not immediately clear to me is how rust-unixfs uses
murmurhash, and whether these behavioural differences are
relavent or not.
