Dear Maintainer,

As requested by Sebastian Ramacher in bug #981451, liblivemedia as been
removed from Debian in January 2021 for the following reason:

Please remove liblivemedia from the archive. It contains non-free code
from RFC 3550 (##981439). Upstream is not showing an activity to fix
this issue, so let's get rid of it.

Would be nice to know why this package is again in Debian as the code is
still not fixed.

Hello, the files with "may not" were fixed upstream, the RFC code copied was
relicensed by the author of the RFC as BSD-3-clause on Debian BTS, moreover
upstream relicensed the files under GPL-3+ (under their responsibility).

We already discussed that, ftpmasters accepted it, and I explictly wrote the
reasoning behind the coming back of the package in copyright file.

G.
