Hi!

While rebuilding the python related packages against the Python 3.15rc2 version we ran into this FTBFS:
https://debusine.debian.net/debian/r-python-python3.15/artifact/4856164/

On top of the errors already pasted on this message, with Python 3.15 there's a new error:

_____________________ test_month_offset[2018-01-30-1-None] _____________________
date_input = '2018-01-30', offset = 1, expected = None

    @pytest.mark.parametrize(
        ("date_input", "offset", "expected"),
        [
            ("2018-01-12", 0, "2018-01-12"),
            ("2018-01-01", -3, "2017-10-01"),
            ("2018-01-30", 1, None), # raises value error, as it should
            ("2018-01-12", 13, "2019-02-12"),
            ("2018-01-12", -13, "2016-12-12"),
        ],
    )
    def test_month_offset(
        date_input: str,
        offset: int,
        expected: str | None,
    ) -> None:
        start_date = _to_date(date_input)
        if expected is None:
          with pytest.raises(ValueError, match="day is out of range"):
                 ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
E AssertionError: Regex pattern did not match.
E Expected regex: 'day is out of range'
E Actual message: 'day 30 must be in range 1..28 for month 2 in year 2018'

Please consider investigating the root cause to get this package back in a healthy state.
