Hi!

While rebuilding the python related packages against the Python 3.15 version we found that halide fails to build from source:
https://debusine.debian.net/debian/r-python-python3.15/artifact/4853486/

From the log, the error seems to be:

Unhandled exception: HalideError: Error: Implicit cast from float32 to int in argument 1 in call to "repeat_edge" is not allowed. Use an explicit cast.

The error is repeated many times in the log. It's possible that there are other errors in the log caused by a different reason.

While we ran into this error during the rebuild against Python 3.15, the reproducible builds infrastructure is also running into this issue:
https://tests.reproducible-builds.org/debian/rb-pkg/unstable/amd64/halide.html

Thus, this is not a new problem and it should be solved right away. Setting the severity to Serious.
